DevOps Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) @ Innovative Tech.

Within Devoteam Morocco's Nearshore teams, you will join the DevOps & Automation tribe: an enthusiastic and expert team in operations management, automation, system reliability, and collaboration between development and operations teams.
You will be the essential link for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines to automate the application deployment process.
- Describing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and others to provide automated and reproducible resource provisioning.
- Implementing monitoring systems to track performance metrics, detect anomalies, and trigger alerts in case of issues, relying on tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and others.
- Setting up log management systems to collect, store, and analyze application and infrastructure logs.
- Collaborating with Security teams in implementing security best practices, including secret management, security policy configuration, and, if necessary, participating in potential security audits.
- Ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of services through the design and implementation of robust and resilient architectures, complemented by load testing and chaos engineering.
- Monitoring resource utilization and managing capacity planning to handle load increases while optimizing the use of existing resources.
- Implementing auto-scaling mechanisms to dynamically adjust allocated resources based on workload.
- Ensuring the maintenance in operational condition (MCO) of services, including managing updates, security patches, and proactive problem resolution.
- Working closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Identifying, diagnosing, and quickly resolving operational issues.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of configurations, operational procedures, and best practices for service deployment and management.
- Evaluating and implementing cost optimization strategies related to infrastructure and used resources.
- Training teams on DevOps best practices, tools, and operational processes.
You will deliver your full potential by mastering your technical fundamentals, your in-depth knowledge of [Site Reliability Engineer] activities, and especially by asserting your willingness to understand the needs and service offerings you will be working on.

What assets to join the team?

Engineering degree or equivalent
-
From 5 years of experience in the role

Proven experience in SRE engineering
-
Mastery of automation tools Terraform, Ansible, and others
-
Terraform certification is a plus, confirming practical experience.

Mastery of Python, YAML format, and practice of the Jinja2 template engine.
-
Proven practice in secret management/use: HashiCorp Vault, for example.
-
Proven practice with monitoring, alerting, log reporting tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, fluentd…
-
Practice of Shell, Linux systems, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes is a plus.

Mastery of CI/CD integration tools (Jenkins, Gitlab) and agile working mode.

Understanding and implementation of Service Level Objectives (SLO).

Excellent interpersonal skills, you enjoy working in a team.

A strong sense of service and commitment to your activities.

Additional Information.
- Position based in Morocco in our Rabat and/or Casablanca offices and open only for permanent contract (CDI).
